Reformer Class Descriptions

  • Reformer I

    LEVEL: BEGINNER

    Start your Pilates journey at our studio with the Reformer I class.

    These classes are perfect for anyone beginning Pilates, returning to Pilates or those looking to refine and get the most out of their current practice.

    In addition to promoting body awareness and strengthening the core, you’ll increase range of motion and core balance.  You’ll work on essential movements and apply the basic Pilates principles for safe and effective workouts. 

    *** If you are new to the Pilates Reformer, please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the teacher to introduce you to the machine.

  • Reformer II

    LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

    Once you begin to refine your practice in Reformer I, this class is your next great option.

    This is our signature Pilates Reformer class featuring basic Pilates movements with progressions, as well as intermediate exercises. This class flows at a moderate pace, and instructors may offer progressions or modifications on an individual basis, if needed.

    This class meets you where you are and challenges you to develop and perfect your technique. Exercises are classically sequenced and moderately paced with the occasional twist thrown in.
